Occlusion
There are three ways to scan an occlusion: hand-held, with an articulator, and with a clamping plate. You can choose the scan mode you need.
1. Make a new order. Fill in the order information and select the information for the model, including the tooth position, antagonist, type of occlusion, and scan type.
2. Start scanning and select the occlusion scan mode.
- Choose handheld scan mode. Hold the model in place by hand. Keep the model in the center of the viewport. Click ”Next Step” to scan.
- Choose articulator scan mode. Hold the model in place with the occlusal frame and keep it stable. Click ”Next Step” to scan.
- Choose the clamping plate scan mode. Close the handheld and articulator scan mode. Secure the model with a tool such as a rubber band and place it on the clamping plate. Click ”Next Step” to scan.
3.Once the occlusion scan is completed, you can continue with the other steps.
